Paquette Gallery
The Paquette Gallery, located prominently in the lobby of the SteamPlant Theater, hosts monthly exhibitions of work by local and regional artists. It is open for viewing Monday-Friday from 9AM-3PM and during events.
The Paquette Gallery is named in honor of Dr. Frederick R. “Fritz” Paquette (1939-2004). Dr. Paquette was born in Salida and had deep roots in Chaffee County. A humble man who loved and enjoyed life and all it offered, he watched and marveled at Salida’s evolution into a small mountain town of great diversity. Paquette’s was a life of service, caring and giving.
