The final First Friday of the season takes place throughout the downtown area on September 1 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. 

Galleries and creative businesses in downtown Salida’s Creative District will stay open late. From painting to sculpture, ceramics,photography, plein air, jewelry, fiber arts, and more, drop into one of Salida’s twenty+ artist owned and operated galleries and creative businesses where you can interact with the artist, ask questions, watch a demo and build your unique collection. As the final FIRST FRIDAY of the season, festivities spill out onto F St! As you stroll from gallery to gallery, enjoy live music, street performances and children’s activities featuring Salida Circus, Salida’s River Tribe Drum & Dance Troupe, portraits by Naters Art, and crafts and face painting in front of Kaleidoscope Toys. Visitors can also pick up a blank palette card at the First Friday table. Like a passport book, receive a stamp at each gallery you visit. Return a completed card for an art mini. 18+, while supplies last.
