ABOUT THE FILM

After the death of his beloved wife, textile artist Allan Brown embarks on a seven-year endeavor to weave a hand-spun dress from stinging nettles foraged in the woods surrounding his home. This is “hedgerow couture,” the greenest of slow fashion and also his medicine. It is how he survives the death of his wife and finds a beautiful way to honor her. A modern-day fairy tale and hymn to the healing power of nature and slow craft. Film is Not Rated.
