Collegiate Peaks Forum Series: “The Colorado Fossil Discovery that Rocked the World”

We are excited to announce that our CPFS 2021 speaker(s) will be Dr. Tyler Lyson and Dr. Ian Miller from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Drs. Lyson and Miller talk is entitled, “The Colorado Fossil Discovery that Rocked the World” about they will be talking about what happened 65 million years ago when an asteroid slammed into Earth and caused a mass extinction.

Please join us September 19, 2021 for a free pre-lecture dinner with Drs. Lyson and Miller in the SteamPlant Ballroom at 5:30pm.

In order to ensure we have prepared enough food for attendees, please R.S.V.P. ——–> treasurer@collegiatepeaksforum.org that you are joining us for dinner and include the number of people in your group.

Following the dinner in the ballroom, Drs. Lyson and Miller will present their talk/research in the SteamPlant auditorium at 7:00pm. Additionally, Drs. Lyson and Miller’s talk will be live-streamed.

As always, all events sponsored by the Collegiate Peaks Forum Series (including the pre-talk dinner at 5:30pm) are free and open to all ages.
