Colorado’s great outdoors is the backdrop for this wide-ranging series of discussions exploring untold backstories, overlooked innovations, tales of topophilia and the outsized impact to be realized when regionally defining industries and the outdoor recreation sector intersect. Campfire Conversations aim to educate, inspire, and engage a diverse public through personal stories of people and place. These sessions will be recorded in front of a live audience and rolled-out at a later date in coordination with program partners as part of The Wright’s inaugural podcast series.
About this event
On the Road with The Wright is a project of people and place. In a special collaboration with the Colorado Outdoor Recreation Industry Office, The Wright sets out to rural Colorado communities to experience first-hand the relationships we hold with our landscapes, our industries, our histories, and our neighbors.
Along the way, we come to know the real work of real Colorado communities through the stories of people and place — educators & entrepreneurs, farmers & ranchers, miners & makers, funders & frontline workers. Their stories have a way of reminding us where we have come from and where we are going.
Campfire Conversations are our way of sharing these important stories.
