The Salida Fiber Festival, now in its fifteenth year, is thrilled to present its twelfth annual Fiber Art Exhibition. Join us for an evening of art, conversation, and community with Salida Council for the Arts and Salida Arts & Culture as we kick off Salida Fiber Fest with the grand opening of the Fiber Art Exhibition. Fiber artists showcase beautiful objects made through various fiber techniques, including knitting, weaving, sewing, crocheting, beading, dyeing, and stitching. Explore the exhibition in the Paquette Gallery, connect with fellow arts supporters, and cast your vote for the People's Choice Awards.
The evening begins at 5:00 PM on the SteamPlant Plaza and in the Paquette Gallery with People's Choice awards presented around 6:30 PM in the Theater, followed by two free short films celebrating textiles and fiber arts. Participate in the Soap Box tradition, and enjoy live music by Andrew Callaway. Free and open to the public; cash bar available.
The Paquette Gallery will be open to the public during Fiber Fest on Saturday September 12th and Sunday September 13th 2026 from 11AM-3PM.
