Wild and Scenic Film Festival

The Greater Arkansas River Nature Association and Central Colorado Conservancy have led the way in bringing environmental films to the Upper Arkansas Valley. The two organizations are again partnering to bring the Wild & Scenic Film Fest 2018, a world-renowned tour of the latest, cutting-edge environmental films, to Buena Vista on Friday, March 9 and to Salida on Saturday, March 10.
The two events will benefit GARNA and the Conservancy and include environmental and adventure films with different films shown each night.
The Wild & Scenic Film Festival sits apart from the hundreds of festivals around the world by leaving you feeling INSPIRED and MOTIVATED to go out and make a difference in your community and the world. Considered one of the nation’s premiere environmental and adventure film festivals, this year’s films combine stellar film making, beautiful cinematography and first-rate storytelling.
Doors open at 6:15 pm. Films start at 7:00 pm. Just under 2 hours of film will be shown. Drinks, Moonlight pizza and popcorn will be available for sale.

Join GARNA and the Conservancy for a special screening of the film Biomimicry followed by an expert panel discussion. This event will take place immediately prior to the Wild & Scenic Film Festival in Salida. Doors open at 5:15 pm, film begins at 5:30 pm. More info here.
