This Month’s Presenter: Don Dubin and Bill Given
This month’s, all are invited to enjoy the African Wildlife Travelogue and Slideshow with local photographer Don Dubin and Denver Wildlife Biologist Bill Given.
Don Dubin will be sharing wildlife photos and stories about recent trips to the African countries of Botswana, Tanzania, Kenya, as well as the mountain gorillas of Rawanda. Also speaking will be Wildlife Biologist Bill Given.
Working for two decades as a Wildlife Biologist, Bill Given has conducted studies on a diverse array of species ranging from endangered butterflies to owls, jumping mice, to Mexican Wolves, as well as African lions. Currently, as a research associate of the Denver Zoo and member of the Botswana based Kalahari Research and Conservation Group his focus is as the principal investigator of a lion research project in Botswana.
Three reasons to LOVE the Travelogue Series!
First: It is a great way to see others’ recreation related vacations and adventures without ever having to leave Salida.
Second: It is a great way for those that do the traveling to share their experiences with their community and have bragging rights.
And last but not least: Travelogues are a great way to get travel tips and ideas for YOUR next recreation vacation.
