The Drunken Hearts
“…An electrifying force of Americana music.”
From their humble inception as an acoustic trio, The Drunken Hearts have grown into an electric five-piece that is captivating audiences across the country.
In those few years, the Colorado-based group has managed to make a name for itself in a state that is known for producing and cultivating world-class music. The band fearlessly bottles a tempestuous, yet honest brand of American music — infusing spirited vocals with electric and acoustic instruments, and crafting thoughtful songs that are resonating with crowds everywhere.
The Parade of Lights
Welcome the holidays during Salida’s Christmas Mountain lighting and Parade of Lights held annually on the day after Thanksgiving (November 24, 2017). Riverside Park is officially transformed into Holiday Park and Tenderfoot Hill (“S” Mountain) is lit up as Christmas Mountain.
Festivities begin with a parade down F Street from 5th to Riverside Park’s Holiday Park, followed by an open house with free cocoa, cookies and entertainment at the SteamPlant Event Center. Downtown shops and galleries have extended hours, and local restaurants and bars will be bustling with activity!
