The Salida SteamPlant is proud to continue with the series, Songs OnScreen, in 2020. We invite all to take a tuneful journey each month with a performance-filled film profiling some of music’s biggest names, both past and present, or a story that is driven by the soul of the music. Monthly screenings take place the last Thursdays of each month (unless otherwise noted). A cash bar, popcorn, and concessions will be available.
This Month’s Film: Keep On Keepin’ On
KEEP ON KEEPIN’ ON is one of the most critically acclaimed documentaries of the year. The Film depicts the friendship of music legend and teacher Clark Terry, 89 and Justin Kauflin, a 23-year-old, blind piano prodigy. Kauflin, who suffers from debilitating stage fright, is invited to compete in an elite Jazz competition, just as Terry’s health takes a turn for the worse. As the clock ticks, we see two friends confront the toughest challenges of their lives.
Cash bar & concessions will be available
Tickets will be $9.00 available at the SteamPlant Box Office or online here.
