About Chaffee County Women Who Care
Chaffee County Women Who Care is a new alliance forming in Chaffee County for the purpose of supporting worthy charitable causes in our local communities.
Membership is free and the commitment is for one year at a time. During that year, each member will donate $100 per quarter to the charity selected by women in attendance. Meetings will be held the second Tuesday of January, April, July, and October each year. Meeting locations will alternate between Salida and Buena Vista.
The meeting will consist of three presentations from local non-profit organizations. Each presentation will be five minutes in length, followed by five minutes of questions from the audience. Those in attendance will vote by ballot for the charity of their choice. At the end of the meeting, all women will write checks to the project selected. The more women who participate, the bigger the donation!
Don’t forget to bring your checkbook. You may sign the registration at the meeting or you can get a registration form by email by requesting one at firstname.lastname@example.org.
