Art Harvest: My Creative Cultivation
Pastel and Oil Paintings by Julie Maas
During the month of October, the Paquette Gallery will feature the art of favorite local artist Julie Maas.
From the Artist:
Pure pigment soft pastels sticks offer the immediacy of drawing, and provide vibrant, non-fading colors and rich, soft textures, which is why I enjoy painting with them so much. Pastel is my go-to medium and I also love working in watercolor, collage, and mixed media.
Earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Colorado State University, I strive to continually expand my art skills by studying, practicing, and observing the shapes, shadows, textures, and colors of her surroundings.
My art works are available through www.julie-maas.fineartamerica.com.
