The Paquette Gallery is named in honor of Dr. Frederick R. Paquette. 1939-2004. Dr. Paquette was born in Salida and had deep roots in Chaffee County. He watched and marveled at Salida’s evolution into a small mountain town of great diversity. A humble man who loved and enjoyed life and all it offered. His was a life of service, caring and giving.
